Vega consists of large areas of shallow and productive sea. Clear water, strong currents with fresh water, and lush kelp forests make this a place with high biodiversity. In Levika at Eidem, you will find information boards and details about the most common animals and algae found there, which are great starting points for snorkeling and shore excursions. There is also a changing room for snorkellers and swimmers. Snorkeling is a wonderfully fun way to explore the sea, and Juvika and Levika at Eidem are two of the best places to snorkel here on Vega. Additionally, they are very shallow and have little boat traffic. Perfect for safely exploring the sea!
